Life on the Road

Friday 22nd November

Well after last weekend’s fun we decided to calm it down this week and take life a little easier.

A sprinkling of snow!!

Little did we know that it was going to snow overnight Monday into Tuesday. It wasn’t a great deal as it happened, more of an annoyance than disruption.

Wednesday and all the snow has disappeared from darkest Gloucestershire but was it chilly, a biting wind whipped through the trees and made everything piggin brrrrrrrrrrr!

All of a sudden and without a mealy pudding the sun decided to make an appearance, though it was weak it was enough to stir us into action and start dismantling the galley in TrundleVan.

The bit that’s sticking out in photo #1 has been a source of many a bruised leg for a while plus by rotating the hob it will create some extra workspace, always handy in a campervan I’m sure you will agree.

Looks like the rebuild/remodel will have to take a back seat for a while. Apparently Storm Bert, admit it all you can think of now is Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street. If not I’m sorry for the ear worm.

I’ll see how things go over the weekend and report back next week if we make any progress.
