Life on the Road

Monday 11th November

We will remember them!!!

Well the weekend is over and I’ve had plenty of time to mull over stuff, I know dangerous stuff thinking but hey ho somebody has to do it.

I have selected a few projects to be completed over the winter months on TrundleVan, though one of them I’m still not 100% convinced is a good idea.

First project is to clean up the wheels on the van, they badly need some TLC and tarting up

Second project is to build a new workbench. I’ve had the plans drawn up for a while but not got round to it yet but it will need finishing so I can undertake the third project.

Don’t worry I’ll keep you fully updated and there will be plenty of photos during construction.

Third project is a simple remodel of the galley. The bit that’s sticking out is proving to be a complete pain and I’ll remove and replace it with something similar to the drawing. More of that later as and when I get round to building.

The project that is causing an amount of head scratching is the toilet area. We have been considering walling in the rear to make it an enclosed space that will cut down on the drafts and keep us snug as a thingy .

My only concern is that it will make the space feel smaller and close off access from the rear.

As always your thoughts and suggestions are welcome unless they are silly in which case I’ll send the boys round and put a bat up your nighty when your least expecting it.
