Well what a week it’s been.
Easter has been and gone and the bits and pieces in the van have been fixed.
Turned out I didn’t require a replacement thermocouple; the old one had just worked it’s way loose and needed re-seating.
I also moved the diesel heater control panel to a more suitable position. I had located it above the air vent and it was providing a false thermostat reading. It was okay when it was first installed but since we have had a galley refit it was just a complete pain.
Other than that it’s been a very quiet week, no immediate plans for a road trip as both of us have a few appointments to attend over the next fortnight or so.
So the next trip out will be down to Castle Combe Steam Fair mid May. If I remember to take my camera there may well be lots of pictures available.
