After a day of shopping and wandering around Jönköping, we decided to head back to the east coast, stopping in the village of Storebro, home of yacht maker Storebro Bruks. Rastplats is beside a swimming lake, no services just a very peaceful night.
Ställplats Ölandsbron. After spending several hours wandering around the castle we have returned to a Rastplats next to the Baltic.
Almost back to where we started the Scandinavian leg of this tour
Klagshamn Beach. Our last stop over in Sweden with views of the Oresund and a beach thrown in for good measure. The sun is shining as wall, what more could you want. Services are available next to the Life Guards Hut.
Back to the free Rastplats with hook up for a couple of days R’n’R and a spot of maintenance on the Trundlebus.
Our parking spot for the night, in amongst the dunes looking over looking the Samsø Bælt. Had an amazing wander around Bogense and discovered Manneken Pis!
De Små Fisk, A peaceful parking area just outside the town of Silkeborg. Plenty of walking routes around the lake and through the woods. Toilets available but no services. Silkeborg Museum and the Tollund Man exhibition has to be one of the most moving things we have seen for a long time, we highly recommend you take the time to visit if you are in the area.
A free parking spot and services at the Sports Hall in town. The nearby Rhododendron Parken, 5 minute walk, is well wort a wander around if you are here during the summer months.
Søby Vest E18. After spending a few hours at Vejlernes Naturcenter we continued south and decided to spend the night on a motorway service area. It’s a port in a storm and our spot for the night. At least it’s stopped raining.
Back in Germany and a familiar spot for a couple of days, a wander around the lake and a spot of shopping and site seeing in town before we head east on the next part of our adventure.
