| Coquelles: Back in France, Stage 3 begins. After a trouble free journey down to the train from Lyndon Top and a very pleasant crossing we have made it back to France, Cite Europe to be exact, to begin stage 3 our our great adventure to the Top of Europe. | Damvillers: After a brief stop in Fourneau Saint Michel to replenish our tanks we headed back into France and to Damvilliers for the night. They have obviously been very busy here as most if the trees have gone and now you get a view of the fishing lakes. Still not bad for free I suppose Address: |

| Bitche: Back to the Vosges stronghold of Bitche for the weekend to gather our thoughts and decide on our next move. The official Aire has 6 spaces but the sanded area over the old Arsenal is well used as an over spill. Services are available, water is 2€. Plenty of supermarkets within walking distance and the town is well worth a wander around. Address: |

| Koblenz: A slight change to the planned stopover as the Stellplatz down by the river has closed. Now parked up on a piece of waste land with a few other vans so must be okay. Will just have to wait and see if anybody objects Address: |

| Korbach: A little jaunt up the road today seeing that we had to move from our parking spot due to some nice workmen needing to dig it up. Moved at 8:30, good job we were awake. The Stellplatz at Korbach is a 5 van spot with no services so we decided to do some washing, as one does. Supermarket within walking distance and town is a 10 minute walk Address: |

| Celle: We were here last year and boy has it changed. The river has been diverted and it’s now a cycle path, I think they call it progress. It’s still far to piggin hot and all of us are suffering. Poor Cesar doesn’t know what to do with himself. Ah well the journey north will continue tomorrow Address: |

| Itzehoe: Still heading north, though in this heat you wouldn’t believe it, and have come to rest in Itzehoe. We were here last year and it’s not changed apart from the temporary entrance. It’s not cooling down any, did I mention that!! More shopping tomorrow, getting prepared for the next leg of our journey north into Scandinavia. Services are available. Address: |

| Neukirchen: Parking for the night courtesy of the good Bergers of the aforementioned village. As well as free parking there is also free water and a football pitch to boot. Tomorrow we head up into Denmark and hopefully away from this piggin heat, have I mentioned that it’s still piggin hot.!!!!!!! | Givskud: Motorway services on 18. Not quite where we had intended to spend the night but here we are. We did head for Ringkobing to a free Rastplats next to a fjord but so had everybody else, ah well The services has free motorhome service point as well so it gets better. As with all motorway services in Scandinavia there is a 25 Hour limit for parking, we felt safe, picnic benches are everywhere. Address: |
