| Teruel: Teruel Dinopolis. Same town different location, safer for taking Cesar for a walk and handier for the shops (Alcampo) in the morning. Fuel and GPL station nearby but still no services Teruel is a high altitude town in the mountainous Aragon region of eastern Spain. It’s known for classic Mudéjar architecture, a style combining Gothic and Islamic elements. Examples include the Santa María de Mediavilla Cathedral, dating to the 12th century, which features an elaborately painted ceiling. | Casa de Fusta: After a day wandering around what can only be Spain’s answer to Jurassic park and not being able to stop in our chosen Aire, the builders were tearing the place apart, we have headed back to the salt flats near Amposta. Hopefully the weather will hold out and we can enjoy a peaceful, relaxing long weekend Address: |

| Vilafranca del Penedès: back in this delightful town for the night. Factoid for the area, Spain’s first motor racing circuit was built here. You learn something new every day don’t you. Address: |

| Ainsa: After an eventful day, went shopping in Vilafranca and then Lleida we decided to head for Ainsa. Somehow we managed to take a wrong turn and ended up on the outskirts of Andorra, snowploughs all over the place and flurries of the dreaded white stuff abound. Still it’s only going to be -3 overnight so could be worse. Address: |

| Arzacq Arraziguet: We have returned to France via the Somport Tunnel, video to be posted at a later date once I have edited it. After stopping in the foothills of the Pyrenees but after hearing the snow report gave headed north of Pau to Arzacq. Address: |

| Montreal du Gers: We finally managed to extricate ourselves from the snow, only to find several roads impassable heading north. After several detours and ‘Route Barre’ signs we arrived to the relative safety of Montreal. If the weather changes we may stay here for a few days and re-explore the town. Address: |

| Montferrand: We have returned to a free camping spot near the Canal du Midi. Hopefully the weather will pick up and we will be able to head east as planned towards Monaco and Italy Address: |

| Vallabregues: After an eventful day trying to find a working borne we have settled in at Vallabregues to sit out the storm that is supposed to be lashing Europe, good old Storm Emma. Driving through Montpellier we saw piles of snow at the side of the road, the med with snow they must have been freakin out down here. Jetons are available from numerous outlets in town. Address: |

| Sisteron: Our parking spot for a couple of days. As luck would have it we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The Paris-Nice cycle race descends on the town on Thursday, probably earlier having seen the restricted parking signs up in the area. The race will pass us at breakneck speed towards the finish in town and then it looks like the pro village will be within meters of our parking spot do plenty of opportunities for some photos. Oh the town is also well worth a visit if you ever find yourself traveling through the gateway to Provence. Services available. Address: |

| Laragne Monteglin: Well that didn’t go as planned! The Police came and threw everybody off the Aire, it is to be used for the Tour Busses, so we have retreated to the safety of a free Aire in the mountains well away from the cyclists and their transport. Still it’s not been a bad day at least we now have a new wheel for Dads bike. Services available and a supermarket within walking distance. Address: |
